Community Development Partnership

The Community Development Partnership nurtures a vibrant Lower Cape region by promoting environmental and economic sustainability, expanding opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents, and preserving our unique cultural and historic character. The Community Development Partnership collaborates with the Cape Cod Fisheries Trust to protect the future of Cape Cod's historic fishing industry. The Trust purchases fish quota and leases it to the Cape Cod fleet at half the market rate. All participating fishermen are offered business planning and technical assistance that will help them compete in a tough new world where hard work is but one of the ingredients to success.
